bullet(12-8-1999) I’d like to do some sort of a robot that moves via jumping. I expect that, due to the weight of the RCX, the robot itself would need to be tethered, but it would still be fun.

bullet(12-9-1999) I was thinking about my 10-month old’s reaction to my rack-and-pinion model (he loves to chase after it), when it occurred to me that a bump-detecting, somewhat random robot with a touch sensor on top would be fun for him. The sensor could mount on a big button (probably a wheel or radar dome piece) that would stop the robot and play a song when he presses it.

bullet(8-18-2000) I’ve been thinking about a “cubicle crawler,” which would navigate along the tops of the narrow walls here in CubeLand.
