Here the kids show their more serious sides, as they lament the long, boring flight to Tampa, Florida.

If you look closely here, you’ll see that David is, of course, imitating Isaac

This is what I look like, for those of you who’ve never met me in person.

Here’s Isaac opening his Lego MyBot. This is a very cool toy, and he’s had lots of fun with it. I wish I’d had toys like this when I was young!

Did you know that you can’t buy marshmallow fluff in Florida? It’s so hot year-round, that the stores won’t sell it. My brother, Paul, loves the stuff (as all Americans should), so we imported some for him from Massachusetts.

I have no idea what David is about to open here, but he is devoting his full attention to it.

Ah, the aftermath of an exceptionally blessed Christmas morning. It’s good to be with Mom and Dad again.

Here’s a photo from SeaWorld. I have no idea what this bird is; it might be a crane of some kind. I’ll bet my sister Fran could identify it, though.

Here’s Shamu up close and personal. The whales are trained with all sorts of interactive tricks, including many that are designed solely to drench the audience.

This is one of the more impressive stunts at the whale show - I’d be terrified to do it, not because of the whale, but because of the altitude the human reaches.

The whale shows are great entertainment, and absolutely fascinating.

This particular time there were three whales performing. This is the youngest, I believe.

This was one of the few empty places in SeaWorld. This is a dolphin nursery, where the juvenile dolphins are kept and trained. A trainer comes out from time to time to answer questions and play with the dolphins.

This is one of our favorite parts of SeaWorld. When we first attended, Isaac was two years old, and when he saw the dolphin show, where a few people from the audience get to feed the dolphins, he said, “I want to feed the dolphins. I want to pet them.” We were sad to disappoint him, but then thrilled to learn that we could do just that behind the dolphin stadium!

Here’s Isaac petting a dolphin.

Here we are toward the end of our day at SeaWorld.

Here’s a fairly decent photo of my brother Aaron and me at SeaWorld.

This is from our trip to Disney’s MGM Studios, just outside the Muppet 3D Theater (which we highly recommend).

You think it’s easy to get a decent photo from a group of people this size? In the back row, left to right are my brother Paul’s son, Ryan; my brother Paul; my Dad (Paul J. Wilcox, Jr.); my wife Nichelle; my Mom (Addie Wilcox); and my son David. In front of them are me; my brother Aaron; and my son John. In the very front row is my son Isaac.

Here are the Massachusetts Wilcoxes. Our son Isaac is in the front (age 5), in the back are myself; my wife Nichelle; our son David (age 2); and our son John (age 12).

A very cute shot of David (age 2) and Isaac (age 5).
